Introduction

Guided tours are hypermedia essays which combine analysis with links to sample sources available on a given subject.

Guided tours consist of a series of cards. Each tour begins with a hypertext Table of Contents (TOC). After the TOC, all cards include the same elements, arranged in a similar style. These elements are illustrated below.
