"Discover California" - Tours
The San Francissco Bay Area is a place where you can experience
the breathtaking splendor and variety of nature and the great diversity
of other cultures like nowhere else in the world. Whether it is the gentle
Napa and Sonoma Wine Country and the rugged Mendocino Coast in the north
or the white beaches of Santa Cruz and Carmel with Big Sur in the south
- all these places can be reached from Stanford in just one day. Take a
Saturday off from your busy studies and join us on one or all of the following
daylong tours.

Napa Valley Wine Country.
This tour takes us to some of the world-famous wineries

San Francisco Bay Cruise & Chinatown Dinner.
We cruise under the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges, go sightseeing
at Fisherman*s Wharf and end the day with a Chinatown dinner.

Carmel-Monterey Peninsula.
A beautiful trip to the Monterey Peninsula with a visit of the Monterey
Aquarium, 17-Mile-Drive, Pebble Beach and Carmel-by-the-Sea.
Departure: 10:00 am, Escondido Road (Bing Nursery School)
Return: Around 7:00 pm
Transportation: Car Pools
What to bring?: A sack of lunch and a wind jacket.
