Technology Resources

Current Focus

IRiSS is conducting a broad survey of research technology needs across the Social Science departments at Stanford University intending to discover overlapping needs among the research faculty.  To this end, our Academic Technology Specialist- Vijoy Abraham- is engaged in faculty interviews and has identified topics which IRiSS will further explore, including:

  • Shared use and management of school-wide human subject participant pools.
  • Observational and multi-media equipped research lab rooms for behavioral research.
  • Extensible web-based data collection tools, including survey software development.
