Faculty Steering Committee
When Karen Cook assumed responsibility as cognizant dean for the social science departments at Stanford in 2001, she convened a group of faculty advisors to explore the challenges faced by social science researchers. Through their vision and support, IRiSS was launched.
This group now acts as the steering committee for the Institute’s startup plans.
