Chris gave some updates on a possible career talk for undergraduates and faculty dinner.

Brown Bag Research Talks

Ting is trying to acquire more abstracts and titles for future brown bag research talks.

Speaker Event with NorCal

JIM MATHESON's talk is scheduled at 6-8pm on February 6th in room 380-Y of the math building. Although it is a little bit far from the Terman building, that’s the best we can get. It is especially hard to find a room close to Terman on a Thursday evening.

More Plant Tours

More plant tours to AMD or CISCO could be arranged. Suggestions on what topics to be covered can be sent to Mark.

Social Events

Social event of this quarter is cancelled. After a discussion, we agreed that INFORMS will be more focused on academics and providing opportunities to discuss the frontiers of MS&E research areas.
