Biography:
Frank is a junior Electrical Engineering student, focusing on Computer Hardware. Frank has worked with Stanford IEEE over the past two years as a Freshman Intern his Freshman year, and as the Undergraduate Liason his Sophomore year, and is excited to chair Stanford IEEE this year. Frank originally hails from Vienna, VA, a small suburb of Washington, DC, and used to compete for the Stanford Track and Field team, but now competes as an unattached athlete in the discus and hammer throws.

James grew up in Vancouver before coming to Stanford to explore his primarily techie interests. He cannot believe he is already a junior, so he is nervously choosing his EE concentration and planning his future. He enjoys reading and conversation.

Biography:
Steven Soneff is an MS/PhD student in Electrical Engineering. Having grown up in the dark, frigid north of Canada, he now spends as much time as possible in the warm sunshine, out on the Stanford golf course, the tennis courts, or the Bay. Steven has interned with Google in Silicon Valley, New York, and London; writes computer programs for fun; and generally avoids taking any electrical engineering courses. His interests lie in networking, distributed systems, mobile computing, bioinformatics, and entrepreneurship, among many other interesting areas he's discovered at Stanford. Johnson completed his undergrad at the University of Waterloo and came to the Bay Area 2 years ago to work for Google. Before joining Google, he has held internship positions at Morgan Stanley and Microsoft Research. Currently, Johnson is taking SCPD classes at Stanford for fun, interest and meeting people in the Stanford community. When he's not coding, he enjoys sports, music and outdoor activities.

Biography:
This is Tracy's fourth year with Stanford IEEE, having previously served as Branch Chair for '08-'09, Webmaster for '07-'08, and Research and Competitions Chair for '06-'07. Tracy recently completed her B.S. in Electrical Engineering with distinction, and is currently pursuing her M.S. in Computer Science (concentration in Artificial Intelligence). True to her Silicon Valley roots, she is very excited about technology and entrepreneurship. She has held internships at Google and Facebook and is now exploring the startup world through the Mayfield Fellows Program. Tracy can be found online on Twitter and Tumblr.

Siddharth Jonathan is an alum of the Computer Science Masters program where he graduated with Distinction in Research. He also received the Best Masters Thesis Award at Stanford in Computer Science. He is currently a Scientist at Powerset where he works on Ranking for the Powerset Natural Language Search Engine. His research interests span Web Search, Machine Learning, Probabilistic Models, Text Mining and NLP. Nitin Dua did his undergraduate studies at Delhi, India and was a visiting scholar at Information Systems Lab at Stanford in 2006. He held an engineering associate position at Cardiff University, UK in 2005 and has attained associate level grading in IEEE society in less than four years. He has been actively involved with IEEE for more than four years now, earlier being at IEEE Delhi Section, India and now here with Stanford IEEE Chapter.
