Coordinators Application
If you enjoyed this year’s conference, help ensure that it will successfully happen again next year and become a Stanford tradition. Apply to organize and plan the next conference as one of the four “I don’t know” to CEO 2008 Conference Coordinators. Coordinators should be interested in expanding the conference beyond its inaugural offerings and have a passion for business and the Stanford community. This is a rich learning experience that enables real-world skills such as major event planning, marketing strategy and implementation, fundraising, graphic design, and student/sponsor/session management. Beyond the valuable real-world experiences, make valuable business connections from high-impact alumni, speakers, and sponsors.
Coordinator Positions include:
- Marketing & Registration Coordinator
- Candidate should have graphic design experience and a knack for understanding people and what they want. Also experience with online registration or an aptitude to learn. Responsibilities include designing all marketing collateral, branding of conference, and registration processes
- Finance & Sponsorship Coordinator
- Candidate should be familiar with Excel/Google Spreadsheets. This position is not just reimbursements and budgets but actively seeking sponsorships from leading business corporations and maintaining those relationships. The candidate should be persusasive, aggressive, but very personable.
- Speakers, Students, and Sessions Coordinator
- Candidate should be a people person who wants to meet and work with the other pre-professional student groups as well as the high-profile conference speakers. Great position for those interested in networking. This coordinator will determine session themes and connect with the appropriate groups and speakers to ensure this vision is carried out.
- General Event coordinator
- Candidate should have experience planning large-scale events and have attention to details. Will work closely with all other coordinators to ensure the conference day runs smoothly. Responsibilities include attention to speakers, student groups, sponsors, attendees, etc. This coordinator oversees the event as a whole.
