Color
Using a University signature on a communication clearly identifies it as being from Stanford. Signatures will be most effective if they are always used in a consistent manner. Please conform to these color standards whenever using a Stanford signature. Although only vertical signatures are shown here, these color guidelines apply to all University and school and program signatures, in both vertical and horizontal configurations. Signature artwork is available in the download section.

Signatures on Non-printed Materials
Stanford signatures may be etched on glass, embossed, debossed and engraved. They may be applied to various materials such as fabric, metal, plastics, etc. Always check the signature for quality during the production process. If using a low resolution reproduction method or if the signature is sized very small, use the Stanford signature without seal.
