At Stanford, with our broad spectrum of activities and audiences, consistent use of our graphic identity bridges the diversity and reflects the commitment to excellence that are hallmarks of the University. Correct and consistent use of our emblems is an effective shorthand way to capture the essence of Stanford and reflect the common values at the core of our University.
These Design Guidelines contain the system of coordinated visual elements that make up Stanford's graphic identity, including the Block "S", the seal and the name "Stanford." You will also find tools in the Guidelines that are useful for communicating Stanford's identity across a wide variety of media, including downloadable artwork and easy online ordering of stationery and business cards.
Use of Stanford trademarks without appropriate licenses or other permissions is strictly prohibited. For additional information on how to use Stanford University trademarks refer to Administrative Guide Memo 15.5.
