I-RITE/I-SPEAK allows for a wide range of positive outcomes deriving from
the instructional process and subsequent use in society: RESEARCHERS use their I-RITE statements and I-SPEAK
talks to:
- give academic job talks and industry seminar presentations
- give presentations in departmental research seminars
- write research and dissertation proposals and grant applications
- construct teaching portfolios
- extend knowledge of their research activities to colleagues
at Stanford and beyond
DISCIPLINARY RESEARCH GROUPS AND LABORATORIES use

- serve as a basis for discussions with related research
teams at Stanford and beyond
- better disseminate their research
INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH CENTERS use program results

- summarize current research activity for brochures and
websites
