The Associated Press (AP) carried a story and produced a short video about the Apple Archives at Stanford. Since it was AP, the story was carried by hundreds of websites and print outlets, such as local newspapers.

A few stories are referring to the collection as the "secret Apple archives." This is amusing, given that there was a press release at the time of the donation and the finding aid has been on-line for a decade or so.
