Hi my name is melissa, and our daughter abbigail is 5 months old and she has holo and we at first were told she would not survive birth so her dad and decided to go to maternal and fetal medicine in harrisburg and get a second opinion. the dr there and his staff are the most carry and understanding team we have ever worked with. They made no promises but they gave us hope we went there week after week induring what would come next well we delivered abby at 34 weeks do to my blood pressure and she was so pretty and perfect she stayed in the nicu for 7 weeks she was also was born with a cleft pallet and i just want to say big words can scare you but inform yourself fight for your children research options dont just let your mind get caught up in the what ifs because the children are given to you for a reason and I fell that abby has some how saved me from myself she gives us so much joy the doctor i had seen before i found the ones in harrisburg did not give her a chance . but her father and i did . now abby is crawling and cooing and even holding her head up and we keep waiting for something to be abnormal and so far its all been normal. we are so proud of her and we want all the parents to know expect the unexpected.
