I'm very surprized to see such wonderful information now available. Back in the year 1997 December 17th I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl 8.5 lbs named Tikierra! My first and only child. I was terrified! At 7 months inot the pregnancy I was told she'd be still born! I prayed and when she was delivered the doctors said she wasnt breathing and to say good-bye!But then she let out a scream and I almost came off the operating table! She was delivered by c-section. There was no diagnosis until several hours later.She only had one nostril and needed a trach to help w/her breathing and they told me a g-tube for eating. I didnt know any better but to go along w/whatever I could to make her life comfortable. She never learned to sit up or crawl but she loved to laugh and enjoyed her music. She was blind and had seizures but w/love and medication she soon w/out a seizure. She died June 28th 2000. Due to complictions from pneumonia. I donated all organs that I could! She live 2 1/2Yrs and I wanted to say to all these parents be strong and take it day by day! I believe they are blessings from god! I know my Tikierra was an Angel and a true blessing! I didn't have any of this information then and I think it's wonderful! It wouldve made life a little easier back then. Good Luck to all of you! You all are in my prayers!
