Well it's been over a yr since I last wrote. Our little angel Eric Ryan is still with us & doing great. He is now 1 yr & 6mths but the size of a 5mth old. We joke that he is going to be our baby forever! It has been a long & difficult road but God Has gotten us through somehow. Eric Ryan was born w/cleft lip & palate & this past Aug had his 1st surgery to repair his lip. Although there were complications he pulled through & looks amazing. I cant beleive how much of a difference it has made. Drs would say not to expect much from him but boy does this boy have spirit. Although he is not talking he gets his point across everytime. We used to pray for him to cry like a normal baby & God fullfilled our prayer, we prayed he would smile & respond & God fullfilled that prayer. Our prayer now is that he crawl & he is progressing. We know it is just a matter of time. Eric Ryan was also diagnosed w/DI but thank God he only has to take pills for it. He is the joy of our lives & inspires all how meets him. For Halloween he is going to be Superman, because thats who he is to us, he has gone through so much in his little life (several hospitalizations & operations) & has overcome w/strength that can only come from God. He has proven Drs wrong w/every breath he takes. Till next time, God Bless You all!
