Carter Wiseman was born June 10th 2003. He will be 2 in June and has Semi-Lobar HPE. Carter faces many challenges as I'm sure so do your children. We didn't know until he was born and at that time they said he had Trisomy 13 and would not live long, they were wrong. Soon after learning CPR and being told to enjoy every minute with him we learned he did not have trisomy 13 but Semi-Lobar HPE. Carter has more with the HPE he also has Microsephaly, Klipplefeil Syndrome, Sprengels shoulder, he also has had two hand surgeries; one thumb was barley there so they made his pointer finger a thumb and the other was there but he had reconstructive surgery. He is missing ribs and vertibrea's. He has reflux, tight muscles and recieves OT and PT. He cannot sit, walk or talk. Carter is the biggest joy in my life! For all of these struggles he is the happest most content baby. His smile lights up a room. He loves Music and baths. His favorite movies are baby Einstien. I am very positive for Carter I think he will truley make a huge difference in this world with the things he does. Me and my husband are young parents who never had experience with special need kids before. Carter has taught us so much, I truley believe god only gives specail people children like ours.
