My name is Rebecca Pratt and when I was 18 years old I found out I was pregnant during a check-up at the doctors. I was 7 months pregnant when I found out that my daughter was going to have alot of developmental problems. I was induced a week eariler just to insure that she was delivered in an enviroment where she could get the proper care she needed. The doctors told me that she probably won't even make it out. On January 19th 2005 at 9:53 am, I had my daughter Kairra. After delivery, she was taken to Children's hospital of Pittsburgh where she endured a bunch of tests to declare what was wrong with her. She was diagnosed with Holoprosencephaly at that time. Since then I've heard everything. The doctors told me she won't survive her first few days. But she did, she is now 5 weeks old and doing fairly well. Now the doctors have told me she has a few weeks. I'm praying for a miracle.
