I've posted a story on June 26, 2002...it's been a while, so here is the update. Skylar is now 4 years old and a big sister to a set of twin boys who are 15 months old. Adam and Justin. Skylar still isn't sitting up or talking much. She still has her few choice sounds and has learned no no from the boys. :) She usually says that around medicine time. :P She has come a long way these past few months. She thrives to sit up more. She has started to toss her self over..it's her rolling over. She smiles all the time and her big beautiful blue eyes shine when she's in a good mood. I'm not sure if anyone else has had any problems with a tooth coming through the pallate, but she does and it's putting her in a lot of pain, she bites her fingers and cuts them up..so hopefully we'll have that removed soon. Her HPE is still in control with her body, but her emotional stance and her knowledge of people are still outragoues. She's a bright child regardless of what "label" is put on her. I love her and my boys more than anything in this world. As a parent I can say that times will come when you ask why me?? why my child?? Then as a parent you realize that your child in this condition will teach you more about love and patince more and moe everyday.
