Just wanted to give an update on our son Jonathan. On May 19, Jonathan celebrated his 5th birthday.I am so proud of him and of the things,even if they are minor, he has accomplished.If I had done what the doctors had wanted me to do I would not have this beautiful child today. I just can't beleive how time flies by,because Jonathan will start kinder in Aug. We just had his transition meeting a few days ago. I let them know that he now wears a back brace,has AFO's and that he has mild siezures. He still as difficulty holding his head up for long period of time but he is trying his best. Jonathan still cries if he does not recognize certin people and he still bites his hand. If I tell him NO he will take his hand out of his mouth but sometimes he is just to fast for us. He gets a real kick out of the way we tell him No, that he give us this big smile:) We can't help but smile back at him.
