Rachel and her twin brother, Nathan, were born at 36 weeks. Rachel was suspected to have IUGR due to her smaller size than her twin. She was born with a cleft lip and palate, microcephaly, due to semilobar hpe. She had a seizure on day 3 and was transferred to Indianapoils to Riley Children's Hospital. after 3 weeks in the NICU she came home. We have struggled with digestive track issues with Rachel and with Diabetes Insipidus. Rachel is growing well thanks to her tube feeding. She is actually larger than her twin brother. Rachel has 2 older sisters who love her vary much and parents who are devoted to making sure she has all she needs. At age 21 months rachel is smiling, laughing, looking at some items, starting to reach for items, and enjoys music.
