I just wanted to update my story especially for all those who the doctors tell to have an abortion before birth. My son is now about 2 1/2 months old. He has DI which is controlled by water he has seizures which are mostly controlled by medicine. He has bulging eyes, a small head, and a cleft lip. Now what my son does is suck on all of his bottles to take his milk. He rolls over from his back to his belly, from his belly to his back, and from his back to his side. He holds his head up all the time. He can pull himself into a sitting position when you hold his hands. He has breathed on his own and never stopped breathing. He was just hospitalized for his seizures but even when he has them he breaths. He reconizes me, his daddy, and his grandma by sight and voice. He sees colors, shadows, movement(in other words everything a baby should. He smiles sometimes and even giggles at time. So I tell all parents to make up your own mind about what to do it is your choice not the doctors but I hope my story can give you hope. I will never say it is always easy but it is worth it.
