I was glad to find this site. It's helping me to better understand what's going on. My wife is about 18 weeks pregnant with our baby girl. I was excited when we first found out she was pregnant. I've always wanted children and this is my first. Things started off bad, she's had a lot of bleeding the first three months. Our doctor sent us to a specialist and at first they said the baby may have Alobar HPE. Now they're saying Lobar HPE to Semi-Lobar HPE. They tell us now that we have to decide if we want to continue the pregnancy or not. I'm not sure how we're suppose to make that choice. I does't seem fair. Noone should have to go through this. The doctors don't seem to help. They just say this is what they see. All they're going by are the sonograms. I can't help to wonder if they know what they're doing? If they're right or is this just a mistake. It's been hard on us and there are days I don't think I'll make it.
