ABOUT MY DAUGHTER My daughter is 8 rs old born with a rare brain defect called Semi Lobar Holoprosenmicrocaphally it affets her nervous systom and motor skills. Alot of children born with this don't live past the age of 6 months. My daughter has many other health problems she has reflux desiese, scoliosis, compulsive bitting disorder,spacticity, she does not walk or talk or eat by mouth. My daughter is very smart she knows everyone she can comunicate by eye gazeing and she will make noises to let you know something is wrong or just to play. I am hopeing that I will soon find a cure for her compulsive bitting disorder I have tried many meds, she is crrently taking paxil it sees to work somtimes, I am very concerned with her bitting her fingers bcause she clamps down so hard on her fingers, makeing it hard to get her fingers out of her mouth.
