Our son Jonathan was born with HPE on May 19,1999 and he has been a joy and a blessing to our family.We found out that Jonathan was going to be different when I went for a routine ultrasound in my 4th month. Needless to say I really don't remember most of '99 after seeing so many Dr.s and having so many test done. We were told that we had a 50/50 chance that he would be born alive and well he beat the odds, He is a very happy 3year old who loves the attention of his older brothers, grandparents, aunts and uncles. Jonathan is such a blesseing that I know that in choosing his name we made the right decision for he is truely " A GIFT FROM GOD "
