Our little angel was born 4/12/01 at 39 weeks, weighing 7 lbs. 9 oz. and 20 inches long. She was not put on monitors during delivery since the doctors though she would not survive the actual delivery. We chose not to pur her on life support. Miraculously she did not require any help from the Neonatal Dept. and they were indeed surprised. Her Apgar scores were 9 and 9. A couple of days later after a bout with jaundice we noticed she started having seizures. She stayed in Neonatal to be monitored needing blow by oxygen, after a large dose of phenobarb. She is home now 11 days old. I'm a first time Mom. I'm very interested in learning all I can. I'm a Christian and believe in miracles because I had one.
