HPE Family Weekend & Conference

The HPE Family Weekend & Conference is presented for families and children who have been diagnosed with holoprosencephaly (HPE). The purpose of this event is to offer support and encouragement to families and to celebrate the impact made by each family member in the life of a child with HPE.

Among the activities planned are:

a. Q&A session with Dr. Eric Levey, Kennedy Krieger Institute
b. A special visit with a service animal to provide interaction and motivation for the children
c. Sibshops- A program designed especially for siblings of special needs children
d. Dads on Track- Activities to promote camaraderie among fathers
e. TLC for Moms- Activities and discussions geared toward mothers
f. Hope for Healing- For families who have experienced the loss of a child to HPE
