HOPES Treatments Scorecard
Welcome to the Treatments Scorecard! This chapter is meant to provide information about the status of drugs or treatments that are in various phases of research for treating HD or HD-related disorders. This chapter will be constantly evolving as new information about treatments is published, so be sure to check back often!
(Note: In no way is this list exhaustive or complete, nor are these drugs and supplements officially advocated or recognized by medical professionals. The information we present is intended for educational purposes only and should not be construed as offering diagnoses or recommendations.)
The HOPES Treatments Scorecard can be sorted alphabetically or by mechanism. Click on the underlined table headings to sort accordingly. All of the recent studies we mention are published in journals; to find citation information on a particular study, just click on the highlighted link and it will appear in another window. Glossary links work normally. The window can be resized to accommodate your viewing needs. To maximize the size of the window, click the maximize button on the top title bar of the window. To close the window, click the close button on the top title bar of the window.
The treatments and drugs are color-coded based on the underlying mechanism which they target.
For more information about a particular treatment or drug, click on its name to go to a chapter discussing it in greater detail. (Most, but not all, treatments and drugs will be covered.)
