Full-Chapter Printing
There are two easy ways to print HOPES material: (1) page-by-page printing of text and figures, via the “printer friendly version of this page” link on each page of text; and (2) full-chapter printing of text and figures, via Adobe Acrobat Reader (pdf) or Microsoft Word (doc) versions of the documents below. To print by option 1, please go directly to the pages on our website that interest you and click on the "printer friendly version of this page" links.
There are two ways to print by option 2 (full-chapter printing). To download a particular file, right-click and select "Save Target As" or "Save Link Target As" for the chapter you wish to download. You can then open the files and view and print them at your leisure. Some users will have Adobe Reader and/or MS Word plug-ins installed into their browsers; by left-clicking a particular link, these files can be viewed and printed directly within the browser. However, HOPES recommends that most users download files first and then view and print them, by right-clicking on the appropriate links. (For more information on downloading files or directly viewing files, click here. For more information on plug-ins, click here.)
Depending on the speed of your internet connection, some of these files may take several minutes to download. The last file in the list (“Entire HD Basics Section”) is extremely large; for users using a slower dial-up connection, this download may take upwards of an hour. Please be patient during the downloading process.
Please note: at present, Adobe Reader and MS Word versions are available only for the document files listed below.
To download a free copy of Adobe Reader, visit Adobe's website. For more information on plug-ins, click here.
