Welcome to Stanford and to the Hellenic Association!

There is nothing official about joining us - just drop by our table at the welcoming reception for international students, which is taking place on September 17th in the backyard of Bechtel International Center.

We are already preparing a welcoming BBQ for you. The exact date will be posted next week on the announcements page, so make sure you check that out.

By joining the hellenic mailing list, you can receive information about interesting upcoming events.

If you 're not afraid of filling up your mailbox, join the greek-kafeneio mailing list, to participate in or simply follow discussions about every possible subject that could come to your mind.

Some of us meet regularly - usually on Sundays - and play soccer. In fact, we have an official soccer team, Apollon, and an official basketball team, Louloukes, which often participate in Stanford intramurals. For more info, join the greek-sports mailing list.

Finally, you might want to join the Greek dancing group and corresponding greek-dances mailing list. We meet once a week, starting from winter quarter. But we usually get serious about it in the beginning of spring quarter, as we start rehearsing for the International Festival.
