Undergraduate Research Projects

There are several research studies that involve research in our molecular lab, in our morphometrics lab, in GIS, in isotopes, and in the field.  These projects might include working on some portion of ancient or modern genetic data analysis of rodents, birds, salamanders or larger mammals such as fur seals.  Skills might include working with specimens to obtain genetic or morphological data, computer analyses of DNA sequences, or field work.  Publication in appropriate journals is possible for an eager student with the appropriate level of involvement in the project.
