Stanford Habitat is dedicated to serving the local community through builds, fundraising, and advocacy. We thus like to provide our members with as many volunteer opportunities as possible throughout the year.


2007 Membership

To be considered an active member of Stanford Habitat, you must either:
  • complete 16 hours of service
  • complete 8 hours of service and serve on a committee

Members Benefits: In addition to the satisfaction of helping the community (!), active members also receive a Stanford Habitat for Humanity Volunteer tshirt and gain priority for high-demand events and builds.

Volunteer Opportunities


Fall Quarter Volunteer Opportunities:
  • Oct Gen Body Meeting (1 hr)
  • Oct 6th Build (8 hrs) - 10 ppl max
  • Oct 20th Build (8 hrs) - 10 ppl max
  • HomeRun Bag Stuffing (2-6 hrs) - 45 ppl max
  • HR Bib Pickup (2-7 hrs) - 12 ppl max
  • HR Race Day (4-6 hrs)
  • Nov Gen Body Meeting (1 hr)
  • Nov 24th Build (8 hrs) - 8 ppl max
  • Dec 1st Build (8 hrs) - 10 ppl max

Fall Quarter Committees include:
  • Dorm Challenge
  • Teams Recruitment
  • Raffle and Food Donations
  • On-campus Publicity
