The Home Run is an annual 5K/10K event that benefits local Habitat for Humanity chapters and Global Partners for Development. The event brought out over 1000 attendees this year and raised $23,000 for fighting poverty housing.

Winter Quarter Builds
Throughout the year, Stanford Habitat students build houses with local volunteers and Habitat for Humanity families through Peninsula Habitat and other affiliates in the area.

Community Day
Stanford Habitat values outreach activities such as Community Day in April to interact with and educate the local Stanford community about housing issues in the Bay Area and beyond.

Family Fun Day
Stanford Habitat also likes to make a connection with Habitat families in the area. Each Spring, Stanford Habitat takes local recipients of Habitat homes on a day trip around the Bay. Popular destinations include the Exploratorium, the Tech Museum, and the San Francisco Zoo!
