Staying in the Bay Area for Thanksgiving vacation? Join us on Thursday, November 26 for a traditional American Thanksgiving dinner for all Stanford graduate students and their families. This event promises great food, fun people, and a chance to enjoy a wonderful holiday, even if you will be far from home. And, it's absolutely FREE, thanks to the generous support of President Hennessy
Registration will begin on Tuesday, November 12, 2009, and close when 1500 people have registered, or Friday November, 20, whichever comes first. Watch here for details. Due to the large number of guests, we will have four separate seatings, at 12:00, 1:30, 3:00, and 4:30. Be sure to register early to get your desired seating time.
After you register, you will reveive a confirmation email by Tuesday, November 24th with your assigned seating time. If you haven't received a confirmation email by noon on Wednesday the 25th, please email thanksgiving@gsc.stanford.edu.
If your plans change, please let us know:
Fifteen minutes before your assigned seating time, you'll check in for the feast on the first floor of the Graduate Community Center (in Ray's). Dinner will be in the Havana Room at the Graduate Community Center (750 Escondido Road) and at the Escondido Village Studio One area (behind the GCC). All seating areas are heated and covered, so come rain or shine!
Please only come to the seating time you're registered for, and bring your student ID and a printout of your confirmation email! You will not be seated otherwise.
