Links, Lakes and Luck
The fourth L is Leisure. This laid back adventure is the perfect introduction to life at the GSB. If you don’t know yet, first year is all about enjoying the company of your classmates, improving your golf game, spending weekends in Tahoe, and of course Vegas FOAM. This trip has it all. And we’ll even get you back on Sunday morning with plenty of time to try your hand at that whole academics thing too.
We’ll start the weekend on Friday night with a road trip from Schwab to our amazing 4200+ sq. ft. estate in Country Club Heights in South Lake Tahoe. We’ll round out the night with plenty of festivities and opportunities to get to know your fellow trippers.
Saturday morning begins with a home cooked breakfast and a trip to the golf course. All skill levels are welcomed. Haven’t played in awhile? Haven’t played ever? This will be the perfect chance to give it a try. Still can’t be convinced? Then sleep late and relax in the sauna or the hot tub at the house while your friends hit the links. After golf we’re off to the marina for a private luxury charter cruise on the waters of scenic Lake Tahoe. After the cruise, it’s back to the house for some downtime. We’ll fire up the grill and make sure everyone is well rested and well fed before we cross state lines just five miles away. There you’ll find nightlife and the opportunity to try your luck at the legendary Harrah’s and Harvey’s casinos. You’ll leave well prepared for Vegas FOAM with working knowledge of craps, blackjack and how to temporarily suspend your dignity. Scared of losing? Don’t worry; Vrana will lose enough for all of us!
