A Living Laboratory for Research
School of Engineering faculty will mine project-based data to further their own research agendas, while testing and developing emerging technologies. General topics will include: design and construction process, sensing and monitoring, water, materials, structure, building energy, and vehicle energy. The project will provide formal and informal educational opportunites, as it has already (see
research and
students pages for more information). Demonstration is a critical goal and will be built into the project through multiple channels.
