The Graduate Dissertation Fellows Program Call for Applications
| Purpose: | To encourage interdisciplinary connections among scholars engaged in research on women and/or gender across Stanford's many academic departments; to encourage the next generation of feminist scholars; and to encourage advanced graduate students to engage in the intellectual life of the Institute. |

| Eligibility: | All Ph.D. candidates (males and females) from any academic discipline currently enrolled in one of Stanford's Ph.D. programs who have completed all requirements for the degree except the final dissertation. The research must focus on issues of women and/or gender. Applicants must be enrolled during the Autumn, Winter, and Spring Quarters of the fellowship year. Applicants are expected to be Graduate Affiliates of the Institute. |
| Award: | Seven awards of $7000 each will be made for the academic year 2008-2009. |
| Exclusions: | Previous holders of fellowships are not eligible to apply. |
