Clayman Institute Fellowship Programs
-
Tenured, tenure-track, and postdoctoral scholars are eligible to apply for the Faculty Research Fellowship Program. Fellows are in residence at the Institute for one, two, or three quarters. Stipends are offered up to $60,000 depending on status. We welcome applications from groups of scholars wishing to work together on one project.
The Clayman Institute also offers a number of non-residential fellowships (currently $10,000 for three quarters) to Stanford Faculty only.
Graduate Dissertation Fellowships
Currently enrolled Stanford University students, in any discipline, who are in the writing phase of their doctorate are invited to apply for a Graduate Dissertation Fellowship (GDF). Stipend is currently $7,000 per year. The Clayman Institute's graduate dissertation fellowships do not offer tuition fees. GDFs meet at least monthly to share their work in progress and for professional development discussions.
