Clayman Institute Professional Artist Group

The Clayman Institute is pleased to support a networking group for professional women artists among Stanford University's faculty and staff. Each Quarter, the Institute will host an Artists' Salon, showcasing the work of one of our home-grown artists. Past presenters have included the Institute's Artist-in-Residence, Valerie Miner, who talked about her recent book, About Eden, and her experience as a professional writer; and Aleta Hayes, Lecturer in Dance, described her new project, "Pervasive Percussion." We also welcome our artist affiliates to the Institute for several networking lunches throughout the academic year. For more information about the professional women artists' program, please contact Professor Valerie Miner at vminer @ stanford.edu.
