Social-M partners ensure the continued success of Social-M at Stanford. These organizations have worked to establish and nurture an environment of student service at the University, giving our Challenge a nest in which to roost. They support Social-M with important logistical, material, and marketing services.

The Center for Social Innovation at the Stanford Graduate School of Business cultivates leaders to solve the world's toughest social and environmental problems. With innovative and cross-sector research, education and experiential programs, the Center helps participants lead corporate efforts to improve sustainable practices, manage nonprofits through strategic growth, and launch social enterprises that bring life-changing solutions such as loans to small businesses and safe lighting to the world's poorest places.

The Stanford Persuasive Technology Lab creates insight into how computing products - from websites to mobile phone software - can be designed to change what people believe and what they do.

The Haas Center for Public Service at Stanford University connects academic study with community and public service to strengthen communities and develop effective public leaders. The Center aspires to develop aware, engaged and thoughtful citizens who contribute to the realization of a more just and humane world.




The Associated Students of Stanford University's (ASSU) purpose is to serve the needs of 14K+ undergraduate and graduate students at Stanford University. As the only student group of which every Stanford student is a member, the ASSU is tasked with advocating on behalf of the student body and ensuring the best possible Stanford experience.

Areas of advocacy and programming include but are not limited to Health & Wellness, Academics & Careers, Diversity & Tolerance, Cost of Living, Sustainability, Community Engagement and Public Service.
