The Social-E Society started out of the desire to unite the social entrepreneurship community on campus. There have been too many students at different levels in the spectrum – from idea to running a $100k organization – that are not sharing resources, best practices, and general advice. Below are the topics that have happened.
October 8 – Garrett Neiman of SEE presented on how to fundraise. SEE has raised over $100,000 for its organization and Garrett is a senior.
October 29 – Eugene Nho of IDEAS presented on “Building a Team, Recruiting Volunteers, and Creating an Organizational Structure that Works”. IDEAS had over 50 applicants for the leadership team in its first year of recruiting.
November 8 – A panel will present on “How to Build Effective Partnerships.”
