Three rail services operate in the peninsula; Caltrain, BART and VTA. These trains deliver passengers to connections with buses and Stanford's Marguerite Shuttle.

Caltrain runs between Gilroy and San Francisco linking SFO & SJO Airports to Stanford. Marguerite meets every train at the California Ave. and Palo Alto Stations.
