Bus Information

 

Five carriers serve the Stanford Campus, Marguerite, SuperShuttle, VTA, SamTrans and the Dumbarton Express. These services deposit passengers within walking distance of their campus destination.

Marguerite is the free campus shuttle service. It links Stanford with Palo Alto and meets every Caltrain at California Ave & Palo Alto Stations. View routes, stops, and bus locations, on the Live Service Map!
SuperShuttle is an efficient method of travel to and from SFO, no reservations required. Service to SJC & OAK is provided on a pre-arranged reservation basis only.
VTA runs buses to Palo Alto and points south, linking with Marguerite at Caltrain, El Camino Real, Stanford Mall, and the Medical Center.
SamTrans runs buses north of Stanford, inc. East Palo Alto. The service links to Marguerite, BART, Caltrain, and SFO.
Dumbarton Express runs from the Union City BART station across the Dumbarton Bridge to Palo Alto Caltrain station, where you can connect with the Marguerite.
