At Stanford I've taught classes in digital media, journalism, and media's role in American cultural history. From the fall of 2005 to the spring of 2007, together with Professor Michael Shanks of the Classics Department, I also led Critical Studies in New Media, an interdisciplinary graduate workshop funded by the Mellon Foundation and the Stanford Humanities Center.
