> English/Feminist Studies... maybe...

Norma was born in Zacatecas, Mexico, came to the US when she was 3 years old, and grew up in Denver, CO. She is part of a family of 7, and she loves each of those other 6 people very much. She grew up listening to Vicente Fernandez, Los Tigres Del Norte, Los Temerarios, and Selena. She danced with a folklorico group in elementary school, but doesn't really remember much other than a dance the teacher made her do about a mouse (El Raton Vaquero). Norma was first introduced to Ballet Folklorico de Stanford during Admit Weekend and fell in love with the dresses and Jalisco (still her favorite region). She joined the group in Fall '08 as a freshman and has loved every minute of the practices, performances and parties. Thank you to the rest of the familia in Ballet for making this group the amazing group it is =). QUE VIVA BALLET!
