Atziry Gutierrez is from Michoacan, Mexico and has resided in East Palo Alto, CA for the past thirteen years. She is a first generation student and hopes that all eight of her younger siblings will follow her example by attaining a higher education. Dancing is one of her passions and she considers being part of Ballet Folklorico de Stanford one of the best opportunities she has been given. Her personal interests include music, cooking, reading, exploring new places, making new friends, and dancing, of course.
