Tania Dávila has enjoyed her status as BFdeS Momma (and Grandmomma to the younger generations) for quite some time. She co-chaired the group with Lupe, the other original Ballet Co-Mommy, and still managed to graduate in 2004 with a BA in Psychology, concentration Neuroscience. Tania is currently working at the Stanford Prevention Research Center in the ECHALE project. In case you haven’t noticed, ECHALE has employed most BF de S alumni at some point or other. Along with Krysti and Vero, they are the Teal Menace- a group of folklórico nerds who are fighting to prevent diabetes, obesity, and other related illnesses in Redwood City Latina youth. Tania can usually be found with her ECHALE partners in crime, Gertie and Gloria, at the local Starbucks and Targets while waiting to hunt families down. She hopes she’ll soon be deemed entitled enough to join the Lupeños ranks with the likes of Krysti, Vero, and possibly Lupe. Tania can usually be found knitting in airports, on ravelry, or molesting yarn at the local yarn store.
