Requesting Oracle Access for Non-Employee Students
Students who are not officially University employees require special authorization in order to gain access to the Oracle Financial system.
- The request for authorization must be submitted by a Stanford employee, not the student themselves.
- To request basic access to the Oracle Financials system for a non-employee student, please complete and submit the Request for Oracle Access for a Non-Employee Student form.
By completing this request, non-employee students will have access to the basic Oracle Financials modules open to all employees. These modules include Internet Procurement and iJournals.
In order to gain access to other modules of the Oracle Financials system, certain requirements must be satisfied before system access is enabled. To view requirements by Oracle module, reference Resources: Authority and Access Requirements for Using Stanford Financial Systems.
Requesting Oracle Access for Hospital Employees
Oracle access for Hospital employees must be requested by the related School of Medicine department's Director of Finance and Administration (DFA).
To request basic access for a Hospital employee, the DFA should:
- Copy the following text and paste into an electronic mail message.
- Hospital Employee Name
- Hospital Employee SUNet ID
- Requesting Department
- Fill in the appropriate information regarding the Hospital employee.
- Email the request to oracle.hospital@stanford.edu.
I would like to request access to initiate transactions in the Oracle Financials System for the following Hospital employee:
I will ensure s/he is trained, understands applicable University and Department policies and understands that the information in the system is confidential.
The Hospital employee's access should be established within 24 - 48 hours. The Hospital employee will have access to the basic Oracle Financials modules open to all employees. These modules include Internet Procurement and iJournals.
If the requested access is not working within one week of submitting the request, please submit a HelpSU ticket. Indicate on the ticket that you followed the above procedure and that the person's status has not been updated.
In order to gain access to other modules of the Oracle Financials system, certain requirements must be satisfied before system access is enabled. To view requirements by Oracle module, reference Resources: Authority and Access Requirements for Using Stanford Financial Systems.
