Back by popular demand, Shane Devenshire will be teaching Excel 2007 for Finance Levels 1 and 2 this month. Shane Devenshire holds the prestigious title of being one of only 75 Microsoft-designated MVPs in Excel in the world. He has authored and co-authored dozens of books and articles on Excel and Access. Shane has been consulting and teaching in Excel and Access for over 20 years, and consistently delights customers and classes with his extensive knowledge. This is the second of two, 1-day courses, designed to focus on the use of Excel in financial applications and is intended for intermediate to advanced users. Although the first class is not a prerequisite it is strongly recommended.

How to Register

To register for this class and pay with STAP Funds:

  1. Go to the Axess portal and log in.
  2. Click on the Training tab.

    Note:  If the Training tab is not present on your page, click the My Home link instead.

  3. Click on Search Catalog.
  4. Type Excel for Finance in the Title field, then click Search.
  5. From the results, click on the course title or Enroll to bring up course details.
  6. Follow the instructions to enroll. Note:  Add to Plan does NOT enroll you.

To register using University Department, Hospital Tuition Assistance or Personal Funds:

  1. Download and fill out the paper registration form
