How To:  Hire and Pay Temporary Workers

Before You Start

You need to access ManPower InSite® and Stanford iProcurement to complete the hiring and paying temporary workers task.

InSite®

  • First time users must be set up by Manpower before system access is granted. Email stanford@manpowersj.com or call 1-650-846-2210, providing your full name, SUNet ID, and Stanford email address. Manpower will then email you to confirm your access.
  • Once setup, you will use your SUNet ID and password for access.

iProcurement

  • Set up your iProcurement Preferences.
  • You must create an iProcurement requisition for any job that will be filled by Manpower.

StanfordTemps positions should be set up and administered through Payroll. See StanfordTemps for Hiring Managers.

  Step 2 – Create Job Posting in InSite®

  Step 3 – Create a Requisition in Oracle iProcurement

  Step 4 – Review Candidates and Make a Selection

 

What's Next?

  • After approval, Manpower will be automatically notified when a Purchase Requisition is approved.
  • Manpower will activate the work order and the selected candidate may begin his/her assignment.
  • Manpower will administer the billing against the purchase order.
