Adobe Workshop
Stacy went to the adobe conference last year, first steps
- get some access to appropriate soil
- take soil samples?
- find someone who has already taken the soil sample
- figure out possible dates, tentatively a few weeks after the SAID conference
- recruit some people to help out

ESW National Conference
- we won two sets of cameras and iPaqs
- now what?
- review our proposals to see what looks promising
- think about how to address the project
- Grace will send out an email

some big questions: what does it mean to be an ESW chapter?
how to manage the club over time? how to maintain interest? how to focus? or spread out?
- northwestern seems to have a successful model, but they aren't interdisciplinary
- Cal faces many of the same issues that we do
- we have a philosophy and a vision, but how do we translate that
- activities: general meetings, workshops, what else can we do, mailing lists, projects, classes

SAID/ESW Conference
we're dealing with fund raising challenges
- SAID wants us to split the money, but if we can deliver for cheaper, maybe we should pay for what we use
- Eric was working with Patagonia to get some services & products
- we never really got the communication straight on who was paying for what
- we're still stuck here in limbo waiting to hear from Eric
we are all willing to do something but there is a real need for some organization
