Energy Crossroads

  • energy policy issues on Saturday, March 3rd

does ESW want to do something with biodiesel and policy

  • question: how intense are the presentations? - 15 to 20 minutes it would be more to our discression
  • paper as well? - not necessary
  • shorter presentation are policy pitches - we might be able to make a pitch to Stanford (Stanford policy)
    • 25 presentations, first round: elevator pitches, second round: 5-7 minute

students for a sustainable stanford worked on biodiesel - Greg Wi (sp?)

  • we night be able to partner up with them, we're waiting to hear

What needed soon? A two sentance blurb on what we'd present

  • procedural aspects of making the fuel
  • focussing on why Stanford would want to do this

We are putting together a presentation for the workshop anyway, might not be too hard to add some policy issues to it

  • 5 minute pitch is manageable
  • saving money for eliminating the need to pay to have it moved

Adam, Whit and Eric to work on distiling down Workshop info into the 5 minute format
